Computers can take a hammering in the wrong hands with people installing all sorts of software in the faint hope that it will make a difference to their computer.
- Installing registry cleaners ( I don’t believe they work or if anyone really needs them)
- Software that promises to speed up your internet connection and or computer ( voodoo , doesn’t work)
- Installing more than one anti virus solution ( a recipe for disaster)
- Installing anything and everything that you see on the internet ( How many toolbars do you need)
Try something different , leave the computer alone , think long and hard whether you actually need to install any bogus software , and will it actually do you any good.
If you want it to run properly , Windows Updates are a good place to start .
