Java Settings – Check The Security Level

To follow up on my post on Java when you have an up to date Java install you will see the following security page which is located in the Java settings in the Control Panel.

If you do not see this page , then you are not on the latest Java and the incorrect Java setting can lead to virus / malware running on your computer.

Open up Java in your control panel and click the update button to download the latest Java

If you need to you can get a new copy of Java from the Java website

If the Java Icon is damaged in the control panel click here for a solution , Java Control Panel Icon Application Not Found
