Move Your Documents To A Separate Hard Drive

When you have 2 hard drives on your computer why do you keep saving your documents , pictures and movies onto the one hard drive ?

Why not have your operating system ( Windows ) with your software on one hard drive and your documents , pictures , music and movies on the second hard drive.

All you need to do is follow these instructions from Microsoft

Redirect A Folder To A New Location

  1. There can be complications when trying to reinstall the OS then changing the users folder location, especially if you want the data on a removable drive. I have found it best to just create a folder on the other drive and manually save your documents, pictures and movies. I do the save with the download folder as well.
