The One Thing You Should Not Have In A Password

At least once a week i will encounter someone who has lost access to their online account through a poor password and the one common mistake is that a word is visible which makes it easy to “break”.

For example:

  • eve20156
  • crows1997
  • crows1998
  • port2004

If you do not want to use a password manager you need to eliminate the word but as we all know it is hard for us to remember passwords so how do we make the above passwords just a bit better.

  • 20E15ve6!
  • 19Cr97ows#
  • 19Cro98ws!
  • 20Por!t04

Some slight changes have made these more secure but still able to be remembered.

Also remember to turn on 2 factor authentication
