Windows Update Is Not Working – What Has Happened

So Windows update stops working on Windows 10 – what can you do ? There are usually 2 main culprits. The antivirus You are infected with malware I am finding lately antivirus software is interfering with Windows update and in some cases you will need to remove the antivirus software to get Windows Update to work. Remember to use the removal tool supplied by the maker of the antivirus to remove it effectively. I am still finding that Windows Defender is doing a better job in Winows 10 and makes for a properly running computer. The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update Is Out – My Thoughts

The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is out now and will arrive on most peoples Windows 10 computers now or shortly. First it is a big update and took several hours – just over 2 and a couple of reboots to get everything installed , so that after the first successful installation , check Windows update again as you will find there maybe other updates. I have not had an issue with the Fall Creators Update but have read of some issues with things such as the start menu.
