Google WiFi – Is It The Answer To Getting WiFi Throughout Your Home Or Office

I picked up a 3 pack of Google WiFi for my home from Harvey Norman as I have a long home that has parts that struggle to get a steady and consistent WiFi .

I have used extenders that work to a point but was always after something better.

Google Wifi is a wireless router , that connects to your internet connection and transmits using a mesh network .

Google WiFi gives seamless coverage throughout your home or small business. Google achieves this by allowing you to join multiple Google Wifi units together to ensure there isn’t a single dead zone in your location- a mesh network.

In a wireless mesh network, only one node ( the Google WiFi router ) is wired to an internet modem. The wired node then shares its Internet connection wirelessly with other nodes ( more Google WiFi points) in its vicinity.

Setup was via an app on your smartphone and since setting it up , it really is the solution that I will be recommending.

The app will also measure your internet speed and make sure that the 3 nodes ( Google WiFi ) will talk to each other. You can also turn on parental controls to block sites and pause the internet for those non internet times.

I highly recommend Google WiFi
