Today I was able to spend an hour having a hands-on experience with the Samsung Galaxy S9 thanks to Telstra & Samsung and I was impressed.

Samsung have made some great changes since the S8

First the camera , the Samsung Galaxy S9 features a 12MP super speed dual pixel camera with super slo-mo up to 960fps.

As they say in the ad it is the ” camera reimagined”

The photos were excellent

The Samsung S9 comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos surround sound as our phones are also our entertainment devices and yes it has a headphone jack.

The display is again tremendous with the infinity edge to edge display that curves over the screen and it has facial recognition plus iris scan to access your phone.

Water resistant with an IP68 rating

The Samsung S9 and S9+ will be available Mar 16th from 8.00am from Telstra.

I am looking forward to spending more time with the phone when I get one on March 16th – you can come and see me at the Telstra Store Mt Barker on the 16th.

I will then be able to do a full review.

Pre orders from Telstra will receive a Samsung Wireless Charger and a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and there are 3 colours for the S9 , Midnight Black , Coral Blue , Lilac Purple and the S9 Plus comes in Midnight Black.

The Samsung S9 – great first impression.
