If Your Emails & Contacts Mean A Lot – Backup

So many people lose their emails so why not make sure they are backed up

Many think that their email host ( Telstra , iinet etc ) will be able to get them back – in most cases this is not so.

If you have Outlook there is an export function for your file which contains your emails , contacts and calendars

It should be part of your backup routine for your computer

Also make sure you know your email settings if you have to reinstall or fix an email issue.

If you had a Gmail account or an Outlook.com account then you would have all your emails available and backed up to the cloud.

If you have a Telstra email account , I would encourage you to make sure it is an imap account not a pop account , then Telstra will have your emails on their servers.
