As well as Defender on your computer , Microsoft bundle the Malicious Software Removal Tool so you can run it if you want a second opinion.
It is not in your program list , so how do you access it
Press the Windows key and then the R key and the Run dialogue box will open – then type mrt
When this appears , click next
Decide whether you want a quick , full or customised scan , I would recommend a Full Scan
It can run several hours and when finished you will get a result
