Many users would get the message in Google Chrome and Edge about allowing websites to send them notifications.
They usually appear in the top left hand corner and many would just let this happen as you have to be quick to go BLOCK.
If you stop them you will not get those annoying “ pop ins “ that appear in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
Also if you have let a suspect website send you notifications, they could tell you that you are infected with a virus / malware when you are not infected as they are trying to get you to either buy suspect software or let someone logon to your computer who shouldn’t.
So just turn them off.
