When removing a program in Windows you normally use the built in uninstaller for the program or go to Programs and Features in the Control Panel and uninstall from there.
However you will sometimes get a program that will not go.
So for this I like Geek Uninstaller.
There is a ” Force Removal” option that will remove those stubborn programs.
The ” Free ” Version is also the one to download.
Apple
When uninstalling on an Apple computer many will just drag the program out of the Applications folder into the trash but this just leaves ” residual parts ” of the program.
So the program i like is App Cleaner
Just start App Cleaner then drag the program onto the App Cleaner interface and it will remove all traces of the program.
This program is also free.
