Uninstall Programs On Windows Or Mac – What To Do ?

  When you uninstall programs from your Windows computer or your Apple computer you want to make sure you have removed ALL traces of the program. Most people will use the Programs and Features in Windows to uninstall software that they no longer use , however this will leave behind ” residue ” in the computer in the program files and in the registry. The same applies to the Mac with some of the program being left behind. That is why I recommend the following programs. Things I Do Not Like – Slim Cleaner Plus

Slim Cleaner Plus will promise you the world and appears on many peoples computers and back in 2012 it received an award. We have however moved on since 2012. I have not seen it fix anything on any computers that have had it on , it has only caused issues and when you have Slim Cleaner Plus on your computer it usually has other software that somehow installs such as driver updaters. Just uninstall it – it will take some uninstalling , so use Geek Uninstaller as just using the uninstall from programs in Windows will result in ” remnants ” being left behind.

Computer Constantly Restarting Or Freezing – This Maybe the Cause

Yes the powerboard you may have your computer plugged into. Some are not made very well and can cause your computer to reboot and or freeze due to power fluctuations so if this is happening , purchase a decent one ( not the $5 one ) or plug your computer straight into the wall.

How Long Do Modem – Routers Last ?

Are you having internet connection issues ? Do you turn your modem-router on and off to refresh the connection a couple of times a week or is your connection constantly dropping out ? It is usually time then for a new one. The modem is a device that provides access to the Internet.
