iOS11 Bluetooth Issues – When Your Car Will Stop Connecting

Many out there are experiencing bluetooth issues with iPhones running iOS11 and staying connected to your car ( experiencing dropouts). I was exactly the same and the following is the only thing that worked for me. Forget the device first – in bluetooth settings Turn off bluetooth Force restart your device (iPhone8) (iPhone7) Then go to settings – general – reset all settings You will have to  reenter a few preferences but my iPhone has worked a lot better and when I turned bluetooth back on it has synced and not dropped out with my bluetooth devices , including my car.

Did you know you can activate an emergency call to 000 through your iPhone and even get your iPhone to emit a loud noise to hopefully scare off attackers etc? It’s iOS11 Day

Sept 19th is iOS 11 day when the new operating system for iPhones & iPads can be downloaded. So what do you need to do? First make sure your device will take iOS 11 , the following list will not be eligible : iPhone 5 iPhone 5C iPad (3rd Generation) iPad (4th Generation) Make sure you have backed your device up to either iCloud ( my preferred choice ) or a computer. Apple Announcements – Did They Excite Me ?

At the Apple WWDC today Apple made some significant announcements as they do at the WWDC every year. New operating systems are coming for Macs – High Sierra and iOS11 for mobile devices – iPhones and iPads but they will not arrive until later this year. A new iMac Pro will arrive in December – this should be well received for those that need a top end powerful workstation and it is clear that Apple are listening to its users. New iPads will be available – the 10.5 inch iPad Pro and an updated 12.9 inch iPad Pro – they are quicker , a lot quicker , brighter screen with improved colour , improved camera.
