Beware Of Links On Facebook Promising To Fix Your Computer

Browsing on Facebook can sometimes result in you seeing an ad that will promise you that this ad ( and what it offers ) can fix your computers issues. I came across this one recently  However what happens when you click this ad when you have U Block Origin installed in your browser. U Block Origin which I recommend does not like this link because it is trying to load ” something ” onto your computer without you knowing it. Steer clear of ” mystery fixes for your computer whether it is a Windows computer or a Mac because you don’t know what you will get.

If You Have Mackeeper on Your Mac – It’s Time To Go

MacKeeper is a program that “appears ” on Apple laptops and desktops , promising all sorts of benefits for installing it but in the real world delivering few. The big challenge is getting rid of MacKeeper and here are 2 links that can assist as it is not as easy as dragging it to the trash bin. MacKeeper – I Would Not Install It

One of the more popular pop ups for mac users is Mackeeper which promises all sorts of benefits. In my opinion and many other mac users I would not install it as on the mac computers that I have seen with it on , it slows the computer down dramatically and does not really do that much and there is a vast improvement when you uninstall it. Once again it is a mystery program offering all sorts of benefits but does not appear to deliver.
