I am always getting complaints about Windows 8. So you have Windows 8 or your computer came with Windows 8 , so why havent you made the move to Windows 8.1 Think of Windows 8.1 as the equivalent of Windows XP Service Pack 2 , they fixed a lot that was wrong. So how do you get Windows 8.1 ? First make sure you have done all your Windows updates in Windows 8 and have done all the updates in the Windows Store. Then open up the Windows store and there should be a an icon to upgrade to Windows 8.1. Click on the icon and agree and it will start to download. Windows 8.1 Is Now Here – Tips & Advice

Is The Microsoft Surface RT A Good Deal Now The Price Has Gone Down ?

I bought a Microsoft Surface RT and had it on day 1 of release as i wanted the first computer that Microsoft had made.  It has come into great criticism over that time and I believe Microsoft marketing did an average job at best at defining a market for the Surface and explaining the whole Windows RT v Windows 8 scenario. So what is the Surface good for:  It has a full version of Office 2013 and with the upcoming Windows 8.1 update also Outlook for email.
