I regularly get an enquiry saying when i open a website on my iPad / Tablet with the browser ( Chrome , Safari , Firefox ) and want to watch certain sites it says i need the latest ” Flash Plug-In ” or it does not support my device.
That is because they want you to use their app first so find out whether the site you are using has an app. For example , want to watch ” The Block ” you need to go to the “Jump In ” app not the Ninemsn Page.
The reason flash is not used on portable devices as it is basically insecure and sucks the life out of batteries and therefore is not used on portable devices such as tablets (iPads / Android)
Please Note: Older Android tablets may still run flash but the newer versions of Android do not.
